We were excited when they opened, went a couple of times and then did not go back.Why? BEER! The selection is the same you might get at Chilis, which is fine if your are in Des Moines IA. This pub is located in the hottest beer county in the US. Day by day the residents of San Diego's tastebuds get smarter. When I go out I want a good local beer from one of the 37 breweries in San Diego County. Until McCarters changes their beer selection I will drive to K&B Wines for my local beer and wines instead of walking to McCarters.

Nice addition to the San Carlos community. Very cold beer and good service. Place was about 25% full on a Wednesday at 9:30. Menu looked good but we were dissapointed in the food. My husband's burger was raw inside. He wasn't asked how he wanted it done, its common that restaurants cook their burgers to at least medium. My chicken cobb salad sandwich was a slimy mess of wilted warm lettuce, and almost non-existant chicken drowning in dressing, the bread was hard from overcooking. However, the fries were good and our food was hot. We will try it again, hopefully the owners are doing some quality control with the cooks.

I seen that the place was open and we are a little scared to try new places .But this place was great. From the TV"s to the Music and hands down the food and the drinks. This place is now going to be our local hot spot to hang out . I like everything about it . The service was nice .There was a little wait .But how could there not be on a Friday night . It was actually nice to see there was a wait instead if going into a place and there was none there.Im looking forward to what football season brings.
