I am not much of a computer person and never ever write any type of customer reviews, but I absolutely needed to share my experience with Doctor Panaite:



I first met Dr. Panaite by pure coincidence. I was in a 450 Sutter elevator on my way up to meet a Periodontist for a consultation, when I realized that I had the wrong suite number. On my way back down to get the correct suite number from the lobby directory, Dr. Panaite entered the elevator with a patient and assistant of hers. It appeared that the patient had just come out of surgery and Dr. Panaite and her assistant were personally escorting their patient out of the building.



Since the elevator stopped numerous times on our way down, I was able to observe the communication and interaction between her and her patient. She held her patients hand and comforted her with words of praise and encouragement while she was giving her advice on how to do some additional post op home care. When we exited into the lobby, I overheard her say to the patient that her office will call her in 30 minutes to make sure she got home safely. They then exited out of the building and as Dr. Panaite and her assistant were helping the patient into a taxi, the patient turned around and gave Dr. Panaite a long and heartfelt hug. I was so impressed by this genuine Patient/Doctor interaction, I decided to ask the doctor for her name and the field she was in.



Doctor Panaite stated that she was a Periodontist and that her expertise included complex Dental Surgery procedures like extractions, dental implants and gum graft surgery. When I told her that I was in the building to see another Periodontist and that I could not find the suite number to his office, Dr. Panaite said that I was in good hands with that Doctor and offered to walk me to his suite. When we got to his office, I thanked Dr. Panaite for her help, but was so taken and speechless, I forgot to ask her for her business card.



I have lived in San Francisco for over 55 years and have met all sorts of Doctors from Periodontists, Dental Surgeons to all other fields of medicine and cannot remember having had such a powerful and moving first impression as I did get from Dr. Panaite. Based on this impression, after I saw the first Periodontist, I decided to schedule a second opinion/consultation with Dr. Panaite.



Without going into too much further detail, I can honestly tell you that the consultation with her was right on par with what drew me to seeing her in the first place. She is extremely knowledgeable and professional, kind and caring and her office and staff are a perfect extension of her and her qualities. In the end I felt so comfortable with what she had to offer, I became a loyal customer of hers.



Since then she has done several extractions and dental implants for me and I am now considering getting some cosmetic root coverage done by her and also started seeing her hygienist for regular cleanings. All the care and procedures so far have met or exceeded my expectations and they were absolutely painless. I am now proud to say that my periodontal and dental condition has never been better. She is not the cheapest in town, but for the first rate quality of care and expertise she has to offer, I would not expect her to be. I learned through trial and error and through Dr. Panaite, that when it comes to your health, you should never choose a Doctor based just on price. Thank you Dr. Panaite!
