I ran for Mayor in 2003 because I was upset by the growing homeless problem. Andy and Angie at e-Image helped me produce a 10-minute video on three issues: Homelessness, Housing, and Public Transit. They walked me through every step of the process, from writing a script, to finding locations, through filming, voiceovers, editing, and reproduction. They set up at many sites around the City, including inside MUNI buses and trains. They set up studio backdrop for talking head segments. I was impress with their professional service, patience, and enthusiasm throughout. Angie even acted as a MUNI passenger asking me questions. Working with them educated me in the many steps of video production. Later in the campaign they helped produce a 30-second TV ad talking about my solution to the homeless problem. If I had a million dollars to spend and sent the DVD e-Image produced to every voter and MUNI rider, I might be mayor today. Alas, being elected to public office is more about how much money you have to spend rather than good solutions to problems.

I have worked with the folks at eImage ever since they first came to the Bay Area in 1984. Needless to say, working with the same company for over 25 years says a lot about the integrity and quality of both the company and the people who work there. They are reliable, professional, incredibly conscientious, and just plain fun to work with. Ive always gotten more than the price of admission. As a producer and director with over 50 national and international awards, eImage remains number one on my A-list of people to call for a director of photography. In addition, Ive relied on their accomplished editor and edit suite on more occasions than I can recall. Every time Ive worked with eImage, someone has made at least one suggestion that has raised the production above the ordinary. I called eIMAGE at the last minute to ask about a video shoot of my boss giving an introduction/speech.

Angela, the producer and partner at eIMAGE was confident and helpful. She was able to walk me through the options and quickly bid the job at a very reasonable rate.

She came to my office promptly the next day,along with Andy (the director/editor) and a sound person, Omid. They set up some serious lighting and sound equipment, and were able to capture the perfect setting. There was a great monitor to view the action and playbacks.

The shoot went perfectly. They worked tirelessly to make the edits I wanted and added out logo and some titles. They put it on DVDs and personally delivered it to me -THE NEXT DAY!
