I have been a client with Sylvia Hawley for about 2-3 years (not by choice as I have medical). She is absolutely horrible. I constantly run out of meds and when I want to reach her, it's always a game of voicemail tag. I think out of the 2-3 years I've been with her, I've only spoken to her in person twice. When I call her concerning issues, there is no real sense of urgency and she makes it out as if it's your fault for missing an appointment she made for you but yet it was she who didn't tell you about it. It seems that through the years working with mental health patients she has become jaded and now categorizes everyone one and the same. I try to be polite and hassle free check in clerks also seem tired and jaded that they come off rude, just like Sylvia. I am looking into seeing if I can get a better social worker to help me... one that actually seems to care about health.
