My father is a prostate cancer survivor. He went to see Dr. Lester for second opinion on his treatment plan. Since he doesn't speak fluent English, Dr. Lester found him a very translator in the office. The visit was very pleasant. Dr. Lester worked closely with each of my doctors. He began our first meeting by reviewing my journey with breast cancer. He explained the details of what I would experience and expect from the radiation treatments. Once a week he met with me asking how I was feeling, if I had questions and how to treat any issues that had developed from the treatment. The daily treatments were handled by a team that worked together in a caring, efficient manner. Most of my daily visits happened with in 15 to 20 minutes - from the greeting at the front desk to the 'See you tomorrow!' as I left the treatment area. Receiving a cancer diagnosis can be distressing but Dr. Lester and his staff were a blessing in my cancer journey and I am very thankful that he was a part of my "Dream Team" of doctors.
