Excellent customer service!

I've been shopping this Kragen's as a mechanic for longer than anyone working there has been there. It has gone downhill some. Kragen has generally decent parts and prices, ordering is usually fast. Some of their employees will chat while you wait for attention, and aren't informed of their products at all; some are outstanding.

AUTO PARTS BUYING TIP: Often a Lifetime Warrantee part is cheapest! BUT there is a bad reason for that. Most buyers don't save their receipts; and if they do, they don't use the warrantee to get the part, and replace it themself. So the store sells a lot of their cheapest product, likely to fail soonest, but comes out ahead as no one uses the warrantee. This applies to Most part stores. And if you return a part you are never compensated for your labor; imagine spending 8 hours installing a $25 part. Don't buy the cheap one. Usually the middle-priced is best bet.

I consider Kragen the best chain parts store in the area.
