SCAM The Worst experience ever Thieves they will rip you off, not professional and use bait and switch tactics on repair, i will never use them again and i can't recommend them to anyone that need truck or trailer repair

Had a private truck contracting business for 7 years. Everytime I was in a hard place David was there to help. Work with him and he will work with you. Hard to find parts they can find it.

We needed a complete brake overhaul on our RV. David Burns was clear, accurate and professional in diagnosing the issues and even researched our rig by VIN to see if there were recall or warranty options that could help. This was not my first rodeo and I would say David was as good as anyone I have ever met in the business. I highly recommend him and his business.

Avoid using Hal Burns. David Burns has no customer service skills and is one of the most rude persons I have ever met. They do not get the job done. Trust me when I say avoid using their service.

I had a broken bracket holding in the extended range fuel tank on my Chevy Silverado with the tank hanging down about 6". The shop was obviously very busy on a Monday morning but they gave me immediate attention and less than 1 1/2 hrs later I was on the road again. The mechanic was extremely friendly, great service overall. This shop is highly recommended.

They replaced a motor in our motorhome and did a fine job. I can tell you New Mexico is no place to have the motor blow up in your motorhome. The local Ford dealers can't even get one in their bays let alone have a lift that can pick it up. When I finally got in touch with Hal Burns they were very professional and got the job done. When we arrived to pick it up from Texas, David the owner had us hooked up to city water and 50 amp service for the night. The next morning he insisted we drive it to make sure every thing worked.

All of these fellows were great to work with. I would highly recommend Hal Burns in Santa Fe New Mexico if ever in need of a trustworthy place to have motorhome work done.

I feel very fortunate to have taken my 2000 Winnebago Journey into Hal Burns to have the tire pressure checked and the dash air conditioner recharged before we started a trip because they discovered that several welds on brackets that supported the house sub frame to the chassis were broken or cracked. Special thanks to Dennis De La Cruz for his fabrication skills in putting it back together the way it should have been done in the first place. A first class job.

Can't say too much positive about Hal Burns. Great mechanics, friendly people. Got the job done right (generator problem and dash air) on Class A motor home. I will be back for routine service.

If you are going to be broken ...

If you are going to be broken down in Santa Fe NM this is the place you need to be. The staff is friendly, professional and best of all, very compationate. David Navarro was the tech on call. He promptly came to our truck, helped us get to the shop under our own power and even made arraingments with David Burns to go into town and tow our travel trailer, which we had parked in a lot to lesson the strain on the truck engine, to the lot. They set us up with power and water. We were checked on regularly to make sure we weren't in need and comfortable. A great group of people, and trustworthy. We only paid for the time it took to do the job, not a flat rate as determined by the repair manual. Kudos to my friends.
