I highly recommend James Kallas Jewelers. They are wonderful to work with, and if anything needs an adjustment, they will work with the customer until they get it right. I find James to be very honest and patient. He is an excellent jeweler. His people are also very personable and engaging.

I have shopped at James Kallas Jewelers for over 15 years, and have ALWAYS been pleased with their products and service.

James and his service staff are friendly while very knowledgable and professional. The jewelry selection ranges from silver and turquoise pieces created by local artisans to Kallas's own gorgeous gold and precious gems creations. Prices range from $100 to $1000's. The store itself is well designed and filled with natural light...a pleasant place to shop.

I recently inherited a beautiful but dated gold, diamond and sapphire ring and collar necklace. With James's expert design sense, both were dismantled and reborn as a wearable necklace, ring and bracelet. He worked within my budget, reusing as much of the original settings and chain as possible and created pieces that are contemporary and comfortable. And, yes, absolutely beautiful!

In working with James on the designs, he listened to my ideas and guided me to a design that would enhance the gemstones and be wearable.

I spent a number of weeks searching for a wedding ring that I would love and would want to wear every day. I went to the plaza (where I found the sales people pushy and the quality of the pieces dubious) and multiple other places around town. I simply couldn't find anything I liked or that inspired me.
My family and I have gone to James Kallas for years, so I decided to ask him to custom make a ring for me. Even though I initially didn't know what I wanted, James Kallas was very patient and ended up proposing the design of the ring that I now wear. He is professional, kind, and he does everything to ensure his customers are thrilled with each piece. He also made sure that I would have the ring in time for my wedding (I had kind of waited until the last minute to find a ring).
I love my ring and I would highly recommend James Kallas to anyone looking for something special or a custom piece. I should also add that my mom and sister had some rings made and/or adjusted around the same time, and they too were very pleased. All three of us will surely return to James Kallas for future purchases.
