In preparing for a total knee replacement, and then in getting me back "on my feet" afterwards, Bruce, Mark, and the other staff were knowledgable, caring and effective. They know how hard to push and when to stop, and made the whole process actually enjoyable.

I think that I've tried them all! All P.T. in Santa Fe, and my insurance agent (of all people) said to try Therapy Plus on Cordova. Here's the place friends!! Very professional and in a nice atmosphere and you actually get physical therapy - hands on - not a machine or some such. I had Eric, who is the very best that I have ever found. I can't stress that enough. He's a great human being and has this really kind gal named Aurora who assists him.. You do want to try this place. You'll be relieved that you did..

When I first called them after being recommended to them by my doctor I was told I would be called right back, within ten minutes. It took my calling them 4 times over the course of 2 weeks before I got them to call me back. I made one appointment for 4pm on a wednesday for the following week with a woman called "Sillis". I got no confirmation call so at 6pm the tuesday before my appointment I called them to confirm the appointment myself. I was told by the same "Sillis" that that appointment was fine but the one on March 5th at 2pm had to be canceled because the therapist couldn't make it but the other 6 appointments were fine I said I had only made one. She said because I had given her my weekly schedule that meant it was ok for her to make other appointments. However she didn't even pay attention to my weekly schedule because two of the appointments were during my classes, two more were when I was going to be out of the state on spring break and the other two were when I am usually scheduled to see my doctor. The level of presumption left me speechless. Also because they never called me and hadn’t called me to confirm my appointment I was really worried that I wouldn’t have found out about these appointments until I got the bill for missing them. When I said that the appointments were not going to work and why she replied that she would then have to call my doctor and tell him that because I didn't 'want' the appointments she had made for me I wasn't interested in physical therapy and physical therapy appointments. I was furious. Because the appointments she had made without telling me couldn't work she was going to call my doctor and possibly damage my relationship with him? When I pointed out that it was necessary for me to be the one making the appointments so that they would actually be possible for me to come to them she replied in a very angry and rude tone "Fine. When you go to your appointment tomorrow you can make your own appointments!" I was naturally pretty upset after this conversation so I left a message at Therapy Solutions detailing what I had had to deal with and saying that I wanted a manager to call m in the morning to address these issues before I came in for my appointment. I did get a call from Therapy Solutions in the morning but all they wanted to talk about was my birth date which I had given them at least twice before. I was talking to a manager "Jase" and he did not apologize for the way I had been treated by his staff. One apology and I would have felt so much better and been much less angry. Anyhow I left for the appointment at 4pm and for that address which was on the prescription my doctor had given me and which I had confirmed the day before with the women "Sillis". When I got there I could find no Therapy Solutions and when I called them the same "Jase" told me that that address was their old address that they had moved from over a year ago. I told him "Sillis" had told me it was the correct address he replied with the same unsympathetic tone that "No person here gave you that address". Besides him just calling me a liar I was still pretty upset with him being so cold and unsympathetic with my situation. His attitude was the insult on top of the injury and although he told me was a manager what I would expect from a manager would be to fix a situation where a client had been seriously mistreated but instead he was mistreating me more. Then he added to it by saying that I had been "horrible" to him on the phone and maybe I should find another physical therapy establishment. I couldn't believe it. Instead of an apology, instead of admitting that his staff had completely messed up and given me grounds for being angry and upset on the phone he told me to find different therapists as if I was the problem. I have never been so mistreated by a business in my life.
