Our spa with the unusual name L'ural, has the letter ''L" for the owner (Larisa) and Ural (Russian: ????) a geographical region in Russia from where she came in 2000. Ural is located around the Ural Mountains, between the East European and West Siberian plains which have been here since the 1500s. By the 1800s, the Ural region was famous for its gems and semiprecious stones, which include emerald, beryl, amethyst, topaz and sapphire. Today, mining activities produce coal, iron, copper, gold, platinum, silver, nickel, aluminum, manganese, lead, zinc, magnesium, chromium, potash, salt, building stone, talc, selenit, diamonds, and soapstone.At L'ural spa we choose to incorporate selenit in our treatments. Selenit commonly know as Moonstone was brought from the Urals and is used in therapeutic treatments due to its calming and relaxing properties.We look forward to seeing you and being able to provide you with a memorable experience ofEuropean touch.
