Knowledgeable staff member provided the decisive info I needed to confidently make a last minute purchase before closing, saving a return trip and the ensuing frustration.

Be very careful if you return a product not to accept a gift card in lieu of cash. I found out the hard way that if you end up not purchasing a product from Best Buy there is no way to obtain your money back.You can go all the way to corporate and you will not get your money back.I have done business with them for years only to be caught in this trap.

I also was looking for a Ninitendo Wii during the Christmas season. I was able to find one at the Saratoga Best Buy. I took me several attempts to find one, but I put in the work...I stood outside the store before it opened three consecutive Sunday mornings. The staff was GREAT they handed out coupons so I was guarenteed a unit. The lady who wrote the previous review is mistaken! The Wii was and still is very hard to find. She expected to call and get one. Sorry, put in the time and you too can own a Wii. Now I need a Wii Fit.

So what if they did not tell you about the coupons! You CALLED that Sunday morning while I was in line. I recived a ticket because I was standing in line...you rolled out of bed, picked up the phone and expected a Wii. Seriously. I will always shop at Best Buy...great people, great selection, and they price match (BEST prices).

I personally called this store every morning for a Nintendo Wii. My fiance went to the store every morning for a week. Subsequentally, We were both told to try on Sunday. My fiance even offered to pay for one up front. I just called at 0805 A.M.(the store opened at 0800 A.M.) and was told, " yes, we have Wii's but they are already sold out". Further inquiry led to the conclusion that the store had distributed tickets for Wii's and never ONCE bothered to tell either of us that this was an option. The plot thickened when I asked to speak to a manager! I was told that I could not speak to one right now, as they were too busy with the LONG LINES DISTRIBUTING WII'S!

I will say, I called the Crossgates people were much more professional and helpful when I finally reached that store on the telephone. Unfortunatally, I may not get to Albany from Lake George NY on time to purchase one.
