Tim Yarbrough founded our towing company in 1974. Through almost 40 years of his hard work and dedication he built this company into one of the largest towing companies in Southeast Georgia. For the past 43 years, Tim’s Towing & Recovery has been servicing southeast Georgia and surrounding areas. The company’s main focus is in commercial towing, heavy hauling and recovery. With 13 tow trucks and 5 trailers in our fleet and my group of dedicated drivers, we have built this company into what it is today. We serve customers who are large fleet owners down to individuals who just experience an unfortunate breakdown. Whoever you are, we treat all our customers and their vehicles with the utmost respect in courteous and helpful manner . In our view, this is fundamental to building a successful towing operation.The M.S. Savannah, our flagship truck, is a 60-ton Century Rotator design for one-lane recovery and heavy-duty tow and recovery applications. This enables our drivers to easily and safely tow and/or recover extreme amounts of weight and large sized vehicles. Aside from commercial towing and recovery, we also are equipped for light duty vehicle towing.
