Provided by YP.comI can't believe you guys would turn my water off! I mean, how rude! I mean, I didn't pay my bill. But that was only because I have a suboptimal memory. I mean, you guys were kind enough to send me a reminder in the form of a red water bill. Yes, I recall pulling it out of my mailbox. And bringing it inside. And proceeding to immediately INTEND to pay it... but instead ate some chips and never thought about it again. It said Oct. 27th was the cutoff date. By Halloween I was oblivious to the impending storm brewing around my Unionville property. I was working on a greasy engine late morning/early afternoon. Came in (for more of those chips) to wash my hands. Rather than water, it was my worst nightmare coming from the tap: absolutely nothing! Ugh! BCUD, how could you? I knew your policies, you did your job by giving me water you cleaned and pumped to my house, you billed me, then reminded me. You even waited 4-5 extra days past the cutoff date. And just because I didn't pay you you proceeded to shut me down. Terrible customer service!

Provided by YPmobileMy husband and I just bought a house, and I got my water turned on 2/15/2013. I was told that my first bill would be due in April. Well, I get my first bill in the mail about the end of the first week of March with a due date of 4/17/13, so I hang it on the refrigerator so I won't forget. With a week left to go in March, I get another water bill except this one is red and stating that in 3 days my water is going to be cut off. I immediately go back and look at the bill thinking I may have read it wrong, only to find that the due date is in fact 4/17/13. So, I call them. I asked why I was getting a cut-off notice for a bill not due until April just like I was told, and the woman proceeds to tell me (in a very rude tone) that they accidentally misprinted and the bill was actually due 3/17/13. I was livid!! Number one, that's not my fault that YOU misprinted the bill. Secondly, have the decency to call your customers or send out a notice and tell them that some of the bills might have been misprinted, and the bill is actually due 3/17/13. My husband and I get paid twice a month, and had already paid all of our bills. We didn't have the money to pay the water bill. I told the lady this, and she said "We'll, I'm sorry. If its not paid on or before the cut-off date, then it will be turned off and you will have to pay a $35 re-connection fee!" REALLY??? Why am I suffering for YOU'RE mistake? Needless to say, this new customer is NOT happy! I wish there were other choices as to who we get our water through!

Provided by YP.comjust want to let everyone know that you had better make sure you pay the full amount......even though i paid mine before the cut off date and i made a mistake about the amount i owed i was short $15 and they came and cut it off, no notice or nothing.....and i have to pay 35 to get them back out there, needless to say i paid 40....these people have no heart......................i wished we had other choices were to get our water from and teach these people a lesson. NO CUSTOMER SERVICE AT ALL

Provided by YP.comFirst of all I its pretty crappy the water company turns customers water off to work on it or whatever without giving customers any type of notice. I have a job and have to be at work i dont appreciate getting up in the morning expecting to get a shower and find there is no water, knowing i have paid my bill. If i didnt pay my bill you would turn it off. So my review you dont want my real review.......................MARY
