We were told that our luggage and packages (few in number) would arrive safely with us at our destination. That was hardly the case, though, and we were stuck without luggage and boxes when we had arrived at the destination (only a state away). It took two full days for our luggage to catch up with us which was ok! Our problem was the way they handled us and treated us like dogs who didn't have any sense with which to speak. We were treated very rudely by staff on the telephone and behind the ticket counters. Complaints were dealt with using a wave of the hand and a reply: "We'll take care of it." We were also hung up on on several occasions when we tried to call customer service. The bus ride was comfortable enough for a bus ride, but the atmosphere and service make it a cheap yet unreliable, unfriendly atmosphere for traveling.
