Discovery Island Waterpark is an aquatic facility that features a concession caf and coconut huts. It conducts swimming classes and special events. The center provides private bodyboarding, kneeboarding and surfboarding services. Discovery Island Waterpark has received the Best in Aquatics award from the National Recreation and Parks Association. It offers facilities on a rental basis for private parties. Discovery Island Waterpark is a part of the Greenville County Recreation District, which organizes various camps and athletic activities.
