General Info

Located on Sioux City's riverfront, the Sergeant Floyd River Museum and Welcome Center serves the tri-state areas of Iowa, Nebraska and South Dakota as an information center. Uniquely it also serves as a historical museum as both functions are housed aboard the dry-docked motor vessel, the M.V. Sergeant Floyd. Admission is free. The Sergeant Floyd River Museum & Welcome Center is adjacent to the Chris Larsen Park picnic shelter and playground and the Lewis and Clark Interpretive Center. Other nearby amenities are the riverfront walking trail and public restrooms.
