My name is Karen Tolen, and Im delighted that youve decided to learn more about me and the therapeutic services that I offer. Most important, the people who seek my help are my clients, not my patients. As the director, producer, and script-writer of your own life, you will set the agenda for each of our sessions and the overall goal of our work together. I do not assume the role of a parent who dictates what a client should do, nor do I claim to be a guru who holds all the answers. You have the inner resources necessary to sort through the important issues in your life with the support of a guide who can hold a mirror to you, help you see yourself more clearly, ask pertinent questions, and assist you on the journey.
