      Opened in 1964, Bledsoe's Karate was the first Karate business in Spokane. We have stayed a consistent force in the martial arts community for nearly 50 years by maintaining a devotion to integrity, respect, and discipline to the arts and the community we represent. Bledsoe's Karate Academy has always been committed to making the martial arts available to everyone willing to learn. We have maintained some of the lowest prices in the business by staying true to one philosophy. We have a responsibility to teach the art to anyone who wants to learn. We have jobs that pay for our lives. When you pay your school fees, they are going to pay for the school, not to pay for the instructors lifestyle. There are no contracts, no testing or belt fees, there are no special clubs to join, or federation dues. There is not a single cost above the monthly tuition. Our cost for instruction is $45 a month. We have family discounts as well. Most classes are taught by Sensei Ron Bledsoe, from white to black belt. There are no employees or paid instructors. All instructors understand that we are here to help one another, and that will improve our understand of the arts. All classes are open to the public. Please join us and ask any questions you may have. Sensei Ron Bledsoe has devoted his life to the martial arts with over 60 years of experience and commitment. With multiple sparring and fighting credits, including Bruce Lee and Chuck Norris, Sensei Bledsoe also has achievements outside the ring. Sensei Ron Bledsoe is the only martial arts instructor to receive the Spokane Regional Sports Commission's award for dedication to the sports.
