We partner with Audubon Park United Methodist church (corner of Garland & Driscoll ). SPPC needs 2 hosts and a meal for Monday, January 3, Tuesday, January 4, and Thursday, January 6. You need to arrive there by 5: 30 p.m., have food ready at 6 p.m. and leave around 8: 30 p.m. For more information, or to volunteer, please call Betty Benefiel at 327-8727. Christmas Offering Here is your opportunity to help neighbors, friends, and total strangers in our community. The Christmas Offering goes equally to help Westminster Food Bank and Caritas Holiday Heat recipients. With the current economy, the need for help with food and utilities is great. Please give to support these ministries. We will be accepting donations through the end of December. Make checks out to Shadle Park Presbyterian Church, and earmark them Christmas Offering'. As always, we will accept food donations for Westminster in the container by the office and suggest bringing a donation each time you come to church. Thank You!! Business Referral Guide We have a business REFERRAL GUIDE (of people within our congregation ) available in the church office. If you would like to be on this list, please write on your attendance cards: your name, your business, and phone number or call Eileen in the office at 327-5522. Connie Lee is busy getting toys ready for Christmas For The Mission Community Outreach Center and could use some help! If you want to volunteer some time to this project, please call Connie at 328-4951. Thanks A dynamic course which will open your eyes to mission worldwide. There are 4 sections in the 15 lesson course, covering Biblical Foundation, Historical Progress, Cultural Distinctive and Strategic Involvement. The course will be Monday evenings, (Jan. 10 May 2, 2011 ) 6: 30-9: 30 p.m. at Northview Bible Church, 13521 N Mill Road, Spokane. If you have questions, contact spokaneperspectives@gmail.com. Perspective graduates you may want to talk with are Dick Avery, Judy Avery, Cindy Carter, Wayne Clemm, Caleb Cox, Eileen Hartzog, Sandy Owen, Jayme Ross, or Michael and Rhonda Kirkwood. Learn how to use your skills and passions to glorify God in all the earth no matter your location or vocation. The Perspectives course will provide you with greater perspective to live your life with eternal significance and purpose.
