Spokane Street Department is one of the city departments of Washington. The street department looks after bridge maintenance, parking enforcement, signals and lighting, signs and markers, street maintenance, snow removal, and street sweeping routes. Its traffic operations include barrier-free parallel, parking for the disabled, overhead clearances, parade routes, parking lot standards and remodeling, and information for truck routes, intersections and sidewalks. Located in Spokane, Wash., the department follows the revised code of Washington and national guidelines outlined in the Manual of Uniform Traffic Control Devices. Additionally, it issues children-at-play signs, left turn signals, online pedestrian safety information, school zones, signal synchronization, and installation of marked and painted crosswalks.
