West Springfield High School offers academic programs to students in grades nine through 12. It has an enrollment of more than 2,000 students and provides classes in English, socials studies, mathematics and physical education. The school provides programs in foreign languages that include French, German, American Sign Language, Japanese, Latin and Spanish. It also offers classes in applied history and astronomy. The school offers career counseling, scholarships, and tutorial assistance .Its computer labs provide Internet access, online referrals and reference database on a verity of subjects. In addition, it organizes seminars, workshops, trips, outings and lectures and offers programs in research and internships. Its campus is located in Springfield, Va.
