General Info
The PATH Family Center has been established to treat children with Autism Spectrum Disorder, Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder, Food Allergies and other related conditions using an integrated approach combining mainstream medicine with biomedical and nutritional interventions. Our team is comprised of a pediatrician, registered nurse, certified dietitian and special educator. In addition to looking at each individual's medical and family history, a series of lab tests is prescribed and from these results, the PFC team develops an individualized protocol of diet and supplement to heal any and all underlying medical issues. Our goal is to restore balanced health by addressing these factors through an individualized treatment program. Our special educator will evaluate the child to determine that all services necessary are being provided, as well as helping with school/program placement. The aim of this collaborative effort is to meet the unique needs of each child and family. The PATH center also functions as a "Therapeutic Home" which provides educational resources, activities, and support for the individual,family and community. These classes include subjects such as healing nutritionally, cleaning up the environment, how to administer supplements,leaky gut syndrome, fitness for kids and many more. In addition, we oftenhost events with expert guest speakers such as Eustacia Cutler, mom to worldfamous Temple Grandin. Call to schedule your free orientation! Weekend and evening appointments are available. We also offer hyperbaric oxygen therapy. Hyperbaric oxygen is used for a variety of conditions such as ASD, CP, Lyme disease, inflammation, stroke, wound healing, diabetic neuropathy, and burns, just to name a few. During a hyperbaric oxygen therapy session (also known as a dive), two things happen. First, the pressure of the atmosphere in the chamber increases. Second, the amount of oxygen that we usually breathe (from room air, there is about 21%) is dramatically increased. The combination of these two things allows oxygen to reach areas of our body that it would normally not reach. This allows the body to actually repair or grow damaged tissue.
