terrible in every other way. rude staff, overcrowded, crappy owner/manager... boo!

I went to GSU for 7 years and watched it grow and grow and grow. Good for Statesboro -- I used to love my alma mater for this reason. However, after seven years I returned to Retrievers, had a couple beers at a regular table, and was then asked to leave for no reason whatsoever (not true: they asked me to take off my sunglasses?!?!?!?!?!; I didn't realize they meant permanently). I took off my prescription sunglasses and when I put them back on, I was VIOLENTLY AND RUDELY AND IMMEDIATELY escorted out of the building for no reason at all other than wearing my prescription glasses. While my table loudly protested, I politely accepted management's decision for the night and left for my hotel, but the more I think about it, the more I get pissed off. I expect a written apology (real, not internet) from you and your establishment. I intend to contact as many upper level owners and management as I can in order to exact my grievances, not to mention the Better Business Bureau, the local government, as well as grass root organizations. There was no reason for my unacceptable treatment, and I hope that your managers correct this problem in the future, but in the future you can expect to have lost a customer forever. WORST RESTAURANT TREATMENT IN RECENT MEMORY. You should be ashamed of yourselves -- I bet Katrina would not be pleased with this, nor would Michael Abbot; they would never put up with this manner of treatment, and no one should be subjected to it in your establishment. Expect this to go out on as many social networking sites as I can get my hands on.
