I got my brides maid dress from Expressions In Silk Bridal when they were at the Genesee Valley in Flint. The store had a great selection of dresses in the store and if you couldn't find what you were looking for in the store they had books of dresses to look threw. The staff was very friendly and went out of their why to help us. I would go to Expressions In Silk Again it was a great experience.

This bridal shop is wonderful! Patti and her team are amazing! I had went to several bridal shops in Michigan and none of them came close to the customer service that I received at Expressions In Silk Bridal. I was struggling with finding the perfect dress for my wedding. I kept going back and forth with different styles and liked several, but didn't have that feeling that every bride looks for as confirmation that they have found "the one". After getting frustrated with myself, Patti came to the rescue. She assured me that I would have my perfect dress. She went over to the rack and pulled a dress for me. I told her I liked it, but I wasn't sure. She told me to trust her and to just try it. She took me into the changing room (which is very spacious with a sitting area I might add) and put me in the dress. I stepped up on the pedestal... and there I stood in MY wedding dress. Patti asked me if this was the dress I could picture myself walking down the aisle in to marry my future husband and I was able to finally say yes. I was completely overjoyed!

I am so very thankful to the caring service that this entire staff gives to their customers. Patti had listened to all of the ideas that I came in with and went through all the styles I asked for. She was willing to go above and beyond to make me happy. We had talked about adding a touch a color by her hand-sewing colored beading into my dress to incorporate my wedding colors, adding touches of bling to one of my more simple choices and even making a belt with one of the beautiful broaches they have. She was willing and able to do all of these little details if it was what I wanted. The dress that Patti pulled for me was perfect in every way and didn't need any additional touches, but if it did, I know Patti could have pulled it off!

And then there was the story of the shoes! Again, I couldn't make up my mind. Long story short, Patti finally got me in just the right pair.

The veil? That one took more than one trip. I thought I wanted bling, but wasn't sure. I came back on another visit and told Patti that I thought i needed something more simple. She told me she had just the one. She walked over to the veils and pulled one and brought it over. Sure enough, that was "the one".

This lady's experience and knowledge in what she does is remarkable and I'm forever grateful to her for putting my complete look together. On the day of my wedding as I was finishing getting ready, I stood alone in front of the mirror looking at myself. I felt absolutely beautiful in my amazing dress! Thank you so much Patti!

Its been a long time since I have really been wowed by a bridal establishment but I love this place! I'm 4'11 and I have a really hard time finding a dress shop that will accommodate my needs for alterations and charge a fair price. I'm continuously shocked at how above and beyond the Owner Patti will go to make sure I get exactly what I want. They have dyed shoes for me to match my dress almost exactly, and if my order can't come in time they always have a back up plan that works just as good. I can't wait to get married, I'm so getting my wedding dress from here, I'll probably invite the staff to my wedding! I have been to a few other places, and I've also gone through a few nightmares as a bridesmaid, maybe I'm overly loyal, but the experiences I have had elsewhere just don't compete with the level of care I get when I stop in this shop there aren't enough stars on this page if you ask me!

I love Expressions in Silk Bridal. I got my homecoming and prom dress here. Patti was nice and helped me pick the right dress for me. They also kept my budget in mind since I had to pay for half of my dresses myself. They treated me like I was apart of the family. Recently I was asked to be a bridesmaid in a wedding and we are all going there for our dresses. We were all explained that we had to try on a dress from the designer that the bride picked. The wedding is in October and our dresses are in already. The bride was so impressed with the services we received that she is sending her mom there for a dress and having her the groom and his guys go there for their tuxedos. We love Expressions in Silk Bridal. The staff is always friendly and takes the time to understand what we need and to help us look for dress and/or accessories that we need. They always go above and beyond and they are never judgmental. We would send all of our friends there for their big selection of prom. Also a friend of ours was getting married and she was able to get all of her wedding planned there.... the brides dress, bridesmaids, mothers of the bride and groom, flower girls and even the men were able to get their tuxedos through them. Talk about a one stop shop. If your in need of a dress for a wedding or special occasion this is the place to go. WE LOVE YOU EXPRESSIONS IN SILK BRIDAL!!

My bridesmaids and I have had the WORST experience with this place! They sized all of the girls between 4-8 sizes off (too big). The business moved and they said we all should have got a postcard in the mail and none of my 5 bridesmaids or I ever got one. The dresses were supposed to be in over 2 months ago, but they are still not here. This place has poor communication skills. Hopefully we get our dresses before the wedding. NEVER GO THERE! Oh and 3 if my bridesmaids are from out of town and were here for my bridal, bachlorette party and to pick up their drfesses and since the dresses are not in yet they are telling them they get to pay $20 to have them shipped.

They are not well trained or good at fitting dresses. Found out later their solution of ordering my dress 3 sizes too big to accommodate my cup size was a mistake as all it did was make altering a nightmare and didn't solve they problem that I need G size cups (they should have told me to go custom - but they just wanted my money). They gave me incorrect information about how long it would take my dress to come in.... promise to call me when the dress came in but never did!!!!! Poor communication and customer service - go to Destinations in Frankenmuth for a much better shopping experience!
