Elmhurst Elementary School, founded in 1964, operates under the Franklin Pierce Schools. The schools facility includes classrooms, office building, health room, library, gym, cafeteria, and stage and music room. It provides educational programs for students in grades kindergarten through five. Its curriculum includes reading, writing, spelling, vocabulary, science, social studies, mathematics, computer application and technology. In addition, it offers music lessons, special education programs and physical education. It organizes accelerated reader night and offers free books, treats and storytellers for the kids and organizes training program for parents that involves various strategies for reading aloud with their children.
