Pretty sneaky. They didn't disclose the $60 per policy commission (separate policies for me and my husband), and they added on a $79 roadside assistance policy which we would never have needed since we have AAA. If you deal with this company, be careful and examine the charges carefully, plus be aware that agent commissions might eat up any savings you think you're getting. I guess this is like those check-cashing places - only go there if you don't have any legitimate alternatives and understand that you're going to pay more, for that reason.

I was very unsure about obtaining insurace through Vern Fonk because of their "cheesy" commercials. Well... I was right! The broker I worked with was so "unprofessional" and rude that I will never refer anyone to them. Very very very horrible experience.
