Prolonged stress can lead to hormonal imbalances which may affect blood pressure and digestion. The third factor is our polluted environment. The FDA estimates that we are exposed to over 80,000 toxins weekly. The body’s defense is to wall these toxins off with fat. The only way your body can let you know that something is wrong is by giving you a symptom.
