I was sick about a month ago I called them for an appointment, I asked them if they took my insurance, and they said yes. A month later I get a bill in the mail for over 200$. Apparently they don't. front desk needs to learn how to do their job. They should have informed me when I initially made the appointment that they don't take my specific plan of insurance rather then misleading me thinking that I was covered.

I am extremely displeased with the Water Street Physicians office, in Toms River, NJ. There is one receptionist who is so short with her responses. She appears to be bothered to speak with patients on the phone or in person. She may be very task focused. However, in her position, she must also be prepared for patient interaction, discussion, and questions. Considering she is the first person a patient interacts with upon arrival, the last person a patient interacts with upon leaving, and the person with whom the patient speaks with upon phoning the doctors office, her rapport with the patient is vital. The other reason I am displeased with this office is due to the tremendously long waiting period. The average wait to see the doctor is 1 hour. There have been occasions in which I have had to wait 75 minutes to 90 minutes before seeing the doctor. If this was on the rare occasion in which a patient had an emergency it would be understandable, but it is the norm.
