Happy Hats for Kids in Hospitals is a non-profit charity for children in hospitals with cancer and other devastating illnesses. Children receive gifts of a whimsical felt hat and a bilingual, educational story/activity coloring book with crayons. The hat and 60-page interactive book bring a smile to kid's faces and help ease the fears and anxieties of hospitalized children and their families. Happy Hats for Kids in Hospitals serves children of all ages, ethnic backgrounds and economic levels. There is no cost to the families or hospitals for our gifts. Founded in 1991, Happy Hats for Kids in Hospitals has servced 35 hospitals and more than 750,000 children and their families.
