Beautiful experience . I've been going to another salon for 4 years and my experience here at Amanda's Dominican salon has been beyond excellent . You leave happily and they always treat you with care . Love it

I have been going to Amanda's for almost 2 years I am treated like family they color and cut and blow out my hair even pin curl sometimes I am always left happy Amanda is great and Kelly is a coloring genius I will continue to come back. My two daughters get their hair done their as well they are great on mixed hair.

Worst experience ever!!!! I went there last Saturday and I got there 5 mins before they were to open and waited outside in the cold for 50 minutes. Only to get inside and be treated like the customers ruined their day cause they had to open. Kelly was very rude! And the lady who blew out my hair cut so much of my hair that didn't need to be cut. When I told her that was enough, she did not understand English. They also do not know how to untangle natural hair. So much of my hair was on the floor because of her pulling it. I will never go here again. Do not waste your time or money!!

I have natural hair and went here for a straighten, when I got out of the chair, my hair was still thick and flufffed. It was not straight ! I was very disappointed due to it being a Dominican salon and all the heat I felt just so my hair would not b straight. I should've known After seeing the natural client before me and her hair wasn't all that either when she was finished but I tried to have faith.

Having been a client for almost a year I know better than to go to Amanda's (or any salon) on a Saturday. But off I went (SMH). My usual 2 hr service turned into a 5 1/2 hrs service. There also was an unfamiliar, mature, face there (which is scary for me). Amanda's mami usually colours my roots, but she was busy so Amanda had to do it for the very first time. My roots are now 3 shades darker than my hair (SMH)! To top off my Saturday experience the new face was given the super easy task of shampooing my hair after my roots were coloured. I wasn't too afraid because I couldn't imagine an incompetent shampooer. This maturer woman cleaned the shampoo bowl for 5 minutes (this was new, but welcomed), rinsed my hair, ran her fingers through it, applied conditioner, & motioned me towards the driers. When I inquired about my shampoo she said, "No comprende!" I had to call Amanda who straighted everything out. This woman was so enraged she shampooed my hair with a vengeance. No mas Amanda's

Amanda is extremely unprofessional and rude. She is immature and violent. This is not a place for adult women.

The shop atmosphere is very inviting despite the area where it is located. Amanda makes your hair feel very good and look good. Ive had nothing but good experience there.

I HAVE A GREAT EXPERIENCE EVERY TIME I GO . The products are very good and healthy for your hair. thanks

I love the way they do my hair, it always turns out great however there is not a price chart an on 3 occasions Amanda has tried to charge me a different price? I have to fight her to give me the same price as before but she always says 'oh you got this treatment or our prices went up or ur hairs natural' but I get the same thing every time an her prices are what she feels like giving you that day, she should have a price chart! Other wise I haven't found anyone else that does it like her!

The service is great, very polite and the stylist know what they are doing. Th only problem is that business hours are just that, they open wen they feel like it. There I no regard for their clients time...
