General Info

I am Irwin E. Weiss, a Baltimore personal injury lawyer serving clients throughout Maryland. Since 1978, my practice has been dedicated to meeting the needs of people who have been injured or have lost loved ones as a result of motor vehicle accidents and medical malpractice. My record of success has earned me significant recognition from my peers. Since 1990, I have consistently been named AV Preeminent (previously AV) in Martindale-Hubbell's peer review ratings. Since 2007, I have also been listed in each annual addition of Maryland Super Lawyers. As a sole practitioner with a long history of focusing on personal injury and medical malpractice law, primarily on the plaintiffs' side, but also on the defense side. I am in a position to provide each client with personal attention based on extensive knowledge and experience. I have repeatedly demonstrated my ability to take on major insurance companies and their defense attorneys, having obtained substantial verdicts and settlements on behalf of people who have been injured and whose family members have died due to the negligence of others.
