Esperanza Elementary School offers educational courses from grades kindergarten through six in various subjects, including English, math, science, social studies, health and physical education. It is operated by the Sunnyside Unified School District, and is located in Tucson, Ariz. It also offers various extracurricular activities in sports, such as basketball, volleyball, bowling, swimming, track and field, softball, cross country, tennis and soccer. Additionally, it offers full-day kindergarten, fine arts, tutoring, counseling and pre-school programs. The school has a library and a media center that offers a collection of atlas, dictionary and encyclopedia, as well as books, puzzles, quizzes and resources for students and teachers. Esperanza Elementary School is accredited by the North Central Association, and enrolls more than 850 students every year.
