Accepts Medicaid and does a very shoddy job. Did unnecessary work on my teeth that caused many problems and have cost me a pretty penny to fix throughout the years. Avoid like the plague.

I was briefly unemployed and qualified for Medicaid, so I figured I'd take advantage of the fact that I now had dental coverage for the first time since I was a kid. That may have been a good idea, but going to see "Doctor" Kothari was a huge mistake.



At my first and only appointment, I mentioned that all my teeth were sensitive to cold/sweets along the gumline... I now know that my gums were receding a bit, which is 100% natural and not harmful. Doctor Kothari told me that I needed fillings along the gum-line on all my teeth, sat me down without anesthesia, scraped my teeth with a pick and proceeded to put white filling material on the outer aspect of every tooth in my mouth, ALL 100% UNNECESSARY WORK. I am sure he billed Medicaid a ridiculous amount for this ridiculous work, and now (a couple years later) these "fillings" are all beginning to discolor, crack and fall off, making my smile look like crap.



I am positive that this guy did completely unneeded work on me, just so he could fleece Medicaid for as much as possible. Avoid this guy like the plague... he did me a lot of harm, and absolutely NO GOOD.

Please don't waste your time with this guy. I went to 3 different appointments, where he nothing but take xrays on a prehistoric machine and a teeth cleaning that took about 5 seconds. On the 3rd appointment he told me there wasnt anything I could do and to try and find another dentist. And the reason that I was going there is because I was in pain.This guy is only looking to make money doing as little as possible- thats it. And because his xrays sucked when I went to another dentist I had to pay out of pocket for new ones. By far the worst dentist I have EVER been to.
