York Elementary School serves students in kindergarten through grade five. The school has a parent-teacher association that sponsors several fundraising events for the development of school. York Elementary School s academic curriculum includes math, music, speech, and health and physical education. The school also provides special education programs for children with developmental disabilities, as well as the English Language Learners program. York Elementary School operates a library and cafeteria, as well as offers a range of medical and counseling services. The school is governed by Evergreen Public School, which serves more than 25,000 students in kindergarten through grade 12 and employs over 3,000 people in the state of Washington.
