I've been doing business with Mark's for years but recently I've been disappointed. There are those who take care of customers like Boo and Randy behind the knife counter. Then there are others who lack a customer service attitude. It is the same any where you go; some people enjoy their careers and enjoy helping customers while to others it is just a job. Ask for Boo or find Randy; they will ensure you have a good experience. There are others there who are just as helpful. If you find someone who is not helpful just look for someone else. We all have good days and bad days.

I have shopped there over the past 25 years I never really felt good about the service but I like to shop Local. I never find there employees very helpful and often not to pleasant. Today I went to buy my Duck stamp at the Vestavia Post office and was told that Marks had brought the entire lot from them and that I should go to Marks. I guess they were to lazy to order them for the store so they cleaned out the PO . When I fought the Saturday traffic to Marks they tried to Charge me 16.00 for a 15.00 Duck Stamp. Not only was that morally wrong it was illegal. They will Never get my money again for anything , I went to Academy and got my stamp at the legal price of 15.00 dollars. Shame on Mark's so much for shopping Local there.

Arrogant, overpriced, buy somewhere else. Always been that way, hoped things had changed. No one there knows anything, except what they got is gold and what you got is junk.

I have been an operator since 1998. I dealt with Mark's once before seven years ago. If you don't walk in dressed like a used car salesman, don't expect any of the employees to look your way. I spent a good fifteen minutes being ignored before taking my pocketful of cash to HOOVER TACTICAL FIREARMS and spending it.

Have your credit card ready. High prices but negotible most of the time. Great inventory but ammo is high.

Marks is the best place in Bham for all of your outdoor needs!
