I ate here early Feb 08 and it was fabulous. The atmosphere is upscale but not pretentious. They have an unusually stocked salad bar that comes with the meal, the vegetables are smoked in their brick oven, and are delicious. However, the entrees are very pricey, about $27 but it was worth it, the rockfish was amazing. If you eat at the bar, like I did, you'll feel comfortable but a bit neglected. I've been there twice and had the same service experience twice. The bar tender has trouble time slicing between patrons at the bar verses making drinks for the tables and it can be annoying to wait for service, but I will go back because the food makes up for the inconsistent service.
