I want to HIGHLY recommend The Honor Bridge for your post-military job search.

I recently left active duty after more than 10 years of service in the Navy. I had little luck securing a job on my own and didn’t enjoy my experiences with larger job placement agencies. Fortunately, Ralph Ricardo, the owner of The Honor Bridge, reached out to me through my LinkedIn account and invited me to look into their website and call him if I was interested in their services. Ralph gave me 45 minutes of his own time that day to talk about my goals and how his company can help me.

He then set me up with my point of contact for the next month. Tim, was a consummate professional with extensive experience in the military as well as in job placement. I spoke with him everyday and he was always available via email or phone if I had questions outside of our regular daily meeting time.

The goal of the Honor Bridge is to find you a job within 30 miles of your home address in 30 days, and they did just that for me. Tim listened to what I wanted from my next career, called HUNDREDS of companies around Chicago, and now I am excited to be starting a new job at a great company.

I know that I wouldn’t have gotten to where I am today without the help of The Honor Bridge.

I had a great experience working with The Honor Bridge throughout my job search. If you are separating/have separated from the military and have a specific area you want to live, The Honor Bridge is the only choice. While most other recruiting services only work with specific companies this company calls hundreds of companies in your specific area on your behalf. I would and will recommend this company to all my friends that are leaving military service.

I would absolutely recommend The Honor Bridge to any military member who is separated (or separating) and fixed on where they will settle. Obviously, results will vary depending on where you live and what is available. After having received a "nope, there is nothing I can do where you're going" from Lucas Group, I was looking for employment on my own. The Honor Bridge's unique approach allows them to sell you to a company that may not want to hire anyone. If you have skill sets that employers want, they WILL get you talking with companies. I was hired by the first company I interviewed with, and for a fair amount higher than the standard rate for my area. The hiring process guidance provided for interviews and compensation negotiation was miles above anything I heard in TAP class (twice). In spite of the negative review above, a person would be a fool to not use the options available ... especially in today's challenging and competitive job market.
