I've taken my car in for an oil change, with an appointment scheduled, and getting there, have been told that they're behind two hours...another time I left my car for an oil change, came back 45 minutes later, and see my car, with hood up, sitting there and nothing happening. The mechanic (?) was changing another vehicles tires, and I waited another hour before he got back to my car...I really hate to send my wife in, as they always seem to have a list of corrections that need to be done. The only good thing I have to say, is that the price for an oil change, with coupon, is great!

Don't bother making an appointment since they won't honor it! I showed up a little early for my appointment for a simple oil change and the guy at the desk laughed at me for thinking he would have time to get to my APPOINTMENT that day. Not just a little extra wait time, but he wanted me to leave my car overnight. He even verified my appointment in his callender. I didn't get an apology that they decided to take walk ins and put them ahead of an appointment that was on their callender all week. I have a busy work schedule and I don't have time for people who disregard their customers schedules.

Poor customer service!

I will absolutely NEVER use this location EVER again. Women beware. The manager was down right rude and scoffed at me when I experienced a breakdown for an issue I paid them the day before to check saying it was a "coincidence" my starter went out the day after they replaced a battery that still had 2 plus years in warrenty. It took an entirely different location and manager to rectify the situation and admit fault. The first words out of the Visalia managers mouth was "I have paper work saying it isn't my problem." while the other managers first words were "what can I do the satisfy you and restore your faith in pep boys?" he went out of his way to fix the Visalia shops mistake. I will definitely be taking this further so other customers do not get taken advantage of and get stranded hundreds of miles from home.

I had a pretty good experience at the Mooney Pep Boys in Visalia. One of the technicians whose name I believe was Francisco was very friendly and honest. I could tell he knew what he was talking about and he wasn't trying to rip me off. It won't be the last time I take my car there.
