Please steer clear of this place. I know when you need urgent dental care you do not have a lot of options but trust me, these people are not honest and told me a price and then changed it after I left and sent me a bill. I visited Urgent Care Dental in West Chester due to pain in my Wisdom Tooth. Upon visiting they explained that they did not take my insurance and that I would have to pay for the full amount upfront. After seeing the dentist, he recommended that I remove all 4 wisdom teeth and I inquired as to the cost because I had to pay out of pocket before they started the work…like many Urgent Care facilities. They told me a price and I paid it. A month later I get a bill in the mail for more than $500 saying there was a balance. I called and inquired about the error because I paid for everything upfront. They will not correct the issue. Classic bait and switch. They told me a price that I agreed to and then they sent me an additional bill afterwards and saids I agreed to it. This is completely unethical and I hope you choose to visit any other dental care place besides this one or this may happen to you as well.

Both times I have been to this location Dr. Lauren Fields has been totally awesome and I would refer her to anybody having dental pain! She's very understanding, helpful and gentle.

This is the worst dentist I've ever been to! Dr. Fields extracted my tooth and sent me home with nothing at all for the pain stating that I wouldn't need anything. When the numbing medicine wore off I had the most intense pain in my mouth to the point I was crying hysterically. I called and they were closed, I had to go all night with nothing at all! The next day she gave me a few day supply of something. I ended up having a dry socket and going back. She treated me like I was lying about being in so much pain and refused to give me any more. Dr. Miller did the same thing and refused to even look in my mouth. This place is a joke. All they care about is getting all your money up front. After that they do NOT care about you one bit and refuse to help you. I have been back several times and each time they treat me like complete crap and ignore anything you say. Go to a real surgeon and avoid this place at all costs, it's absolutely horrible!!!! It should be illegal they way they treated me. They took my $500 and that's it they are done with you. I really wish I would have went somewhere else. Now I'm stuck in excruciating pain and can't get any help and I don't have any more money to go anywhere else!

This was my third visit and all was well besides the fact I had to pay everything up front because last time my insurance was ran Delta Dental still had my last name wrong since I was married since then and it was denied. I finally fixed it for the third and final time and my balance was back to 0. That is why they made me pay up front. Well I agreed even though it was a insurance mistake and was not my fault for being a delayed payment. So after talking to Kim I was promised a check of what the insurance did cover when it came in. Three weeks later, no check. I called and talked to my insurance company to find out my insurance paid the very next day and was deposited. I called urgent dental and talked to the front desk. She said it was credited to my account,...so what happened to my check in the mail? She said the only way to get it was to have her call the Louisville office and let them know I need a check for over payment. She also said if I didn't receive the check in a week to give a call back. A week passed and I called them back. This time I talked to Kim who seemed oblivious to my request . She took my name and number again and said it would take up to three weeks. Are you kidding me! She would call back with information after she talked to Louisville office. I did not get any calls back again. Another week later i decided to call the Louisville office myself. I talked to Sally who was the most helpful staff of all. She CALLED ME BACK, to let me know the check will be in the mail by tomorrow. This all happened today 6/27/2013 so I should see the check by Saturday or Monday, yay! Thank you so much Sally for not giving me the run around like Kim did. Kim really needs to brush up on her customer service instead of leading them on with false information. 3 weeks my a**!!! The only good comment I have for this dental care facility is that the receptionists were very helpful, nice, and friendly. I went in to have two teeth extracted, I had infection already in my teeth. Usually you are given antibiotics to treat the infection before having any work done, that was ignored here. Secondly, you can have a tooth simply extracted or surgically removed. In my case I definitely should have had both teeth surgically removed. Doc.Miller numbed my mouth but about half way through the extractions I was in unbearable and overwhelming pain and he refused to administer more nova cane. I had to go through the rest of the treatment that way. I have never been in so much pain in my life. Yes this was the cheapest place I've ever been to, but now I see why and DO NOT recommend this place to anyone!!!!!
