Took my English boots to get new zippers 2 years ago. They are still going strong!

Took in a pair of knee high women's boots to get the heel's re-done as the rubber soles had worn down to the wooden base of the heel. Finished in 1 week, Cost about $15 dollars, boots came back polished and looking better than ever! Quality job on the heel replacements as well!

I am a full-time law student at Drake University and take pride in my professionalism. Just before going home for winter break, I dropped off two pairs of leather boots and one pair of shoes for repairs and to be polished. I left my name and phone number and one of the owners (a woman) wrote down what needed to be done. I never received a phone call from the business indicating that my shoes were ready so weeks later I returned to pick them up. Another owner, the son of the woman was extremely rude and threated to call the police on me after I mentioned that the shoes were not repaired and didn't looked polished. He became irate - screaming, yelling, and waving his finger in my face. He continued to tell me not to tell him how to do his job and at one point attempted to withhold my shoes until I 'knew how to talk to him'. At no time did I raise my voice but he made me feel as if my safety were in jeopardy. I paid for the poor work done and he yelled as I left..'Don't come back!
