The Works is a workout center that has been around WM for a long time. They used to be located in the mall; but due to flooding, moved to two locations: the one at the old blockbuster in WM and the one on highway 77 in Marion. The one in WM has plenty of workout machines and weights to work out on, so you never have to worry about waiting on people. Or that's the way it was until recently. Now they have trainers teaching classes if 7-8 people taking up space which sucks. As long as you avoid those times, you're good. On to the bad things... They don't have a weight scale and WILL NOT buy one. I have complained and they say they had one that was broken after hours... It was a $10 Walmart one. If it wasn't the principle of the thing, I'd go buy a freaking weight scale and put it in there. They don't have working heat. It's been broken a month and it's cold as crap in there. People were working out in coats yesterday... Like wtf... Lastly, their water fountain is BROKEN... It has been a couple weeks. I have had to drink out of the sink in the bathroom bc I'm NOT buying water from them... They should have all three of these things and it pisses me off that they don't, so I'm speaking up. Unfortunately, it's the only workout place in WM, and I'm not going to drive all the way to anytime to work out. These owners are cheap and won't fix... Go to Anytime Fitness if you can

I really love going because unlike gyms in the big cities it is never crowded which really makes it nice. Open 24 hours is another really nice thing I really appreciate. Price is a tiny bit high which makes it tuff for a lot of the poorer people in our community to join.
