Provided by DexKnowsMy husband has been placing $500 orders with Wheat Ridge Poultry for 40 years, long before Francine was the owner. He was previously treated with respect, and we never had trouble placing orders. When Francine purchased the company, all this changed. She is abrupt, rude, and doesn't treat her longest, highest spending customers with anything that approaches normal manners. Other people there who take orders are easier to work with, and I feel for them working for a bully like Francine. Steve the butcher is wonderful, cannot say enough about him. If not for Steve we would find another butcher. We make a long drive to go to this place, only to be treated like we're worthless to owner Francine. Last time I was there to pick up a $500 order, I was looking around at the pies and she kept yelling at me that my order was ready. What, can't even look at pies? Francine needs some mentoring, and even though she's the owner, she could get some. The meat is great if you don't mind giving money to someone like Francine. In fact, the meat is just wonderful, and here's hoping you get someone else to answer the phone and take your order. Francine would be wise to stop working directly with customers. Customer service is not a job for everyone.

Provided by DexKnowsI was driving by this store on Saturday morning. They had a sign advertising a bundle for $19.99 for a large quantity of meat. I went into the store and was happily surprised all of the meat is natural meat without hormones, and antibiotics. I bought the bundle and a couple of other items. They also have delicous milk in a bottle. Once I returned home, I barbecued the meat. My family thought the meat was delicious. I recommend this family owned meat store for great prices on natural meat. I saved so much money for better tasting meat than I can buy at the "Natural Grocery Stores". Way better than Sunflower Market or Whole Foods. I will return next week for more food.
