just went here to get contacts and glasses. New store was bright and modern! Great selection of frames. They also support animal rescue which is amazing

I have been going here for years and its finally time to stop being lazy and find a new place. The dr's are always rude and never let you finish talking. As soon as they hear what they want they cut you off. .. Plus they are are always rotating their drs so u rarely see the same one. This past exam I had to go back three times due to a medical situation with my eyes and I saw two different drs. Both of which told me the exact opposite of what the other one said. The staff usually look like they don't want to be there and even though I'm always early for my appts I usually end up sitting at least 20 mins past my appt time. Last visit my appt was for 12:30 and I arrived at noon. A lady walked in, said she had a 1:00 appt and at 12:45 they took her in, and left me sit there. Then they took her son in, who didn't even have an appt. I was late returning to work. I have many more complaints but I'm sure people will go there anyway .. I stayed there bc i don't have insurance and its cheaper than a real eye dr. I guess you get what you pay for. Just my experiences with them over the years.. And I have gone to both this and the stroudsburg location.

I went here for an eye exam, new glasses and perscription sunglasses. I usually go to my optometrist but since I moved Eyeland is more convenient. Dr. Strong water did the best exam I ever had - she was quick and answered all my questions. My vision insurance is not the greatest. Patti went on the computer and spent some time getting me the most coverage. My eye exam and the first pair of glasses only cost me $9.99 total! And they were having a special so I got my sunglass frames for 1/2 off.

I usually have a hard time finding frames because I like the latest styles and when I do find frames that I like, they are so expensive. I found frames here right away, and they were perfect and at the second-lowest price in the store.

I definitely would recommend this store to anyone.

First of all the selection is very bad and disorganized. Then I am promised my glasses will be expedited if I order there. Well they are not ready after 8 days and the staff is cocky on the phone. Avoid!
