since my moms passing on june 19th, I have mail forwarding with this post office. my mom always complained she did not get certain pieces of mail, and several other people in her apt. bldg were complaining also. she was quite adamant she was missing a bank statement and a xmas card from her best friend in arizona. at the time i put this aside thinking maybe mom had forgotten that she got it. since mail forwarding starting around july 1, 2015. I have received her late rcu statement from february and her xmas card from her best friend in arizona. why were these not delivered in a timely matter. obviously they were in the post office somewhere. I personally had no problem with mail sent to mom. But on July 31 I sent a birthday card to my nephew in whitehall. To this date he has not received it, texted me to see if I had sent it which i confirmed. My brother just was at your post office and said you were so rude and it was not your problem. went away frustrated. If this was an isolated incident and I had not seen it for my own eyes having moms late mail show up 5-6 month later, I probably would not have thought much of it. But we are talking about a 17 year old young man waiting for his birthday card. WHERE IS IT?
