The company also provides consulting and development services and is an authorized direct seller and reseller of computer hardware. Acorn Energy operates through three subsidiaries, which include Databit, which sells and services PC-based computer hardware, software, data storage and networking solutions; dsIT Technologies, which provides computer software and systems consulting, development and integration services; and Comverge, which provides energy solutions to utilities providers and their customers. Acorn Energy is headquartered in Mahwah, N.J., where it employs nearly 100 people.
