General Info
Mud Pies & Bright Eyes is a small licensed in-home child care. I offer a structured and fun day for your child full of various activities including field trips, art projects and outside play. I am conveniently located on Rt 101 in Wilton, NH, less than 18 miles from Peterborough, Hollis and Merrimack. All fees include breakfast, lunch, afternoon snack, field trips and activities. Before and after school care is also available for children attending FRES. The bus stops at the end of the driveway. My mission is to provide a safe, caring and fun environment for your child while you are at work or school, to encourage and teach your child to be the best person he/she can be and to reinforce that they are important, smart, capable and loved.

My name is Jessica Cornwell. I am the mom of four children, ages 2 years to 17 years. I understand how difficult it can be when choosing a child care for your child. Let me tell you a little bit about myself and hopefully alleviate some of the stress caused by such an important decision. I received my Bachelor's degree in Human Services from Franklin Pierce College in 2002. I am the PTO treasurer for my son's school. I have several years of experience working in a preschool setting. I also have 3 years' experience working with teenage boys in a group home setting and 5 years' experience working with children with physical and mental disabilities. My home is a pet and smoke free environment, filled with many opportunities for learning, play and fun. The days are structured and fun. Activities include music & movement, arts & crafts, indoor and outdoor play, baking activities and story time. Field trips include trips to the library for music and story time and trips to local playgrounds (weather permitting). We will do other field trips that are age appropriate such as apple picking, Friendly Farm, the post office and fire station. I have a room set aside to be the "classroom". Here we will have our meals, art activities and table play. I have a large living room/indoor play area and a fenced in back yard with swing set, sand box and sensory table. There are plenty of toys to share. Because I work out of my home, I will never close due to the weather.
