General Info: Magdalena Stepien, MD, is a board-certified neurologist with advanced fellowship training in electroencephalography (EEG) and epilepsy. A Phi Beta Kappa honors graduate of the University of Chicago, she earned her medical degree at Chicagoâ€™s Rush University and continued there for her internal medicine internship, neurology residency (finishing as chief resident) and neurophysiology fellowship. She has a special interest in epilepsy in females, EEG monitoring and intraoperative neurophysiological monitoring. Dr. Stepien is an active community volunteer and member of the American Academy of Neurology. She is also a native Polish speaker. She joined AdventHealth Medical Groupâ€™s elite neurology team in Central Florida upon completion of her fellowship training in Chicago.
