Thanks to the expert opinion of Dr. George Dirkers, I don't have a job. Dr. Dirkers gave me a pre-employment physical and deemed it necessary to put so many work restrictions on it that it made it impossible to do the job. Needless to say, the company that was going to hire me, withdrew the employment offer.The worst part about this is the fact that he came to this conclusion without performing a functional capacity test. The doctor that performed the carpal tunnel surgery that I had (over 5 years ago) released me to full duty with no restrictions.
