I was told that this dive was the best place ever for burgers. I went on a saturday evening during the summer .Not a long wait, no one at the bar, however, we waited for a very cranky bartender named patty to get us a drink. Thankfully we didn't have to sit at the bar too long. I ordered a grovers blue cheese burger on a salad. I thought it was med well. It came out and was more like a med rare or rare. I couldn't eat it. Who could let the server know, she only came over once. When the meal was over and I finally told her i couldnt eat the meal because it was way under done for me. Her answer was.>>>>>Well you can take it home and cook it longer yourself. Really . I am a server and I would never give an answer like that. First of all this is the best BURGER place in WNY. Then they should know how to cook a freaking burger. I dont care how thick or big it is Then the server put the check down, OK. now you have to wait in line for all the east amherst glen oak drunk guys to get their money out of the atm . Is this the only place on the planet that doesnt take credit. Oh yeah it must be because I'm not on the planet earth I'm in Western New York. People if you get sucked in and think this place is good, you are out of your mind. There are a hundred places with better burgers, better service and a better atmosphere. Grovers is suspect at best

Wow. Unbelivable hamburger. Great service. Incredible prices. Do NOT miss this place on any trip near Buffalo. Cheeseburger soup is the best I've ever had. Fries perfect. Worth the wait. Very small place, but moves fast. Servers friendly. Nice home like atmosphere. Great beer selection on tap as well
