Based in Honolulu, Sacred Hearts Academy is a Catholic, independent, college preparatory school for girls in prekindergarten through grade 12 and was founded in 1909. It offers a wide variety of academic courses, including English, mathematics, social studies, science, foreign languages, religion and physical education, fine arts, and technology and business education. The academy provides a wide variety of extracurricular activities and student organizations, such as Interact, video, speech and radio clubs, student council, the National Honor Society, and speech and debate associations. It also offers various athletic activities, including air riflery, bowling, cross country, volleyball, soccer, tennis, kayaking, canoe paddling, softball, swimming, wrestling, basketball, golf, sailing, track and field, gymnastics, judo and water polo.
